WHAT CAN 380 DO FOR YOU?
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND DFM
Help from the early stages of product development: ideation, concept CAD, Design for Manufacturing, prototyping, iteration, and beyond. We can also help design features that enable automation at future scale.
A Proof of Principle is often needed to prove out an automation process on the bench. This will give you the data you need to move to a production machine. We can quickly design/build/iterate a rig to get the data you need to make informed decisions about how to best improve and automate your product and process.
NEW GENERATION(S) OF EQUIPMENT
All equipment starts with an early, first-gen machine and progresses into more and more refined designs as both product and process evolve. Let's take what you've learned from PoP's or early machines into the next generation of equipment: refining tooling, speeding up cycle times, improving serviceability, and integrating more value into your process.
RETROFITS AND IMPROVEMENTS
Machines get old. Let's get your uptime up to current standards with new tooling and controls: improve changeover time, decrease cycle time, and breathe new life into your equipment (and connect your smartphone/PC to the machine so you can see how much better it's doing!).
PROJECT AND VENDOR MANAGEMENT
Managing vendors can be a thorn in your side. Yep, we can help with that. With over a decade of experience managing machine shops, contract manufacturers, and distributors, we are well equipped to help shoulder the burden.
Adam Stagnaro, Principal
I am a passionate machine designer, engineer, and tinkerer. I received my BS in Manufacturing Engineering from Cal Poly SLO and Masters in Engineering from MIT, giving me a solid academic base and opening my eyes to all the great things engineers can do. My career has given me a wide breadth of experience with products and machinery from a variety of industries: automotive, energy, biotech, consumer electronics, recreational products, micro-scale process development, and more.
When I'm away from the office, I love to globe trot, hang with my wife/dog/daughter, read, surf, cook, and occasionally (perhaps 'often' is the more accurate word) sneak into the shop to work on the next idea.
